In a
day where media exalts music, movies and television stars to
God-status and self-worship has become acceptable it is
more and more apparent that we must humble ourselves and
turn our attention to God. No matter what the world is
telling us, nothing in our lives is more important
than our connection with God. As a church we must go
after God in a way we've never gone after anything before.
Our passion must be stronger for God than it is for a lover,
a career or money.
As Victory Christian Center
comes together it is not only an opportunity, but our
wonderful privilege to lift up Jesus. We have made a
commitment to leading people in worship of the only one
worthy of worship - God. We know first-hand that it is in
His presence that there is fulfillment, inner peace and
joy. God has called us to draw near to Him, then He will
draw near to us and be our strength.
